With a Mother’s Heart, For Every Child

Hello, I’m Areum Lee, Manager of HYO Taekwondo.
As a mother of three raising my children here in Temecula, I understand better than anyone the hopes, worries, and joys that parents feel as they watch their children grow.
Because of that, every child who walks through our doors is treated as if they were my own.

HYO Taekwondo is a space my husband and I built together.
While Master Yun focuses on teaching the philosophy and discipline of Taekwondo, I make sure that every moment here is joyful, safe, and comforting for both children and their parents.
It’s my role to notice each child’s little milestones, to celebrate their progress, and to listen to parents’ concerns with care and understanding.

I don’t see our students merely as trainees.
With the heart of a mother, I approach each child with warmth and patience, meeting them at their own pace and helping them discover their potential and build confidence.
I also stay close to the parents, so they feel reassured knowing their children are in caring hands.

My greatest wish is for every child here to grow strong in both body and heart, to love themselves, and to believe in their own growth.
That’s why I stand here each day — with the heart of a mother, for every child.
