A Teacher Who Belienes in Every Child, Every Step of the Way

Hello,
I’m Youngjae Yoo, Instructor at HYO Taekwondo.

Every child who comes to learn Taekwondo has their own pace and their own unique light.
Some grow quickly, while others take steady, careful steps forward.
As an instructor, I believe it is most important to respect each child’s pace and to keep believing in them — no matter what.

At the dojang, children not only build strong bodies through hard work and sweat, but also develop resilient and confident minds. They gain confidence through small achievements and learn patience through occasional setbacks. My role is to stand by them through it all, helping them discover their potential and feel proud of themselves.

I believe that guidance should be firm yet warm, and that seeing children through the eyes of a parent — with care and understanding — gives them courage and trust in themselves.

At HYO Taekwondo, I am dedicated to helping every child find their own color, growing both physically and emotionally, and dreaming of a brighter future.
I’ll always be here, walking alongside each of them on their journey.
