The Chungmu Gymnasium in Daejeon was completely immersed in the charm of Taekwondo. From the stands, the entire audience shouted in unison, “Taekwondo is one!” and responded with thunderous applause. This excitement was the result of a Taekwondo demonstration performed by the Kukkiwon Demonstration Team during the opening ceremony.

The demonstration featured groups in red, blue, and black uniforms, representing conflict and confrontation, which ultimately led to unity through Taekwondo. The performance received praise for its perfect harmony of story, direction, and choreography.
